Christmas Mass at the Garden of Tolerance
The “Legionnaires’ Disease Control Program” training, organized for the first time by the Public Health Directorate, Communicable Diseases Branch, was held on December 18, 2015, at the Betuyab Regional Directorate with the participation of 75 personnel working at partner facilities.
Participants who will serve as “Accommodation Unit Responsible Personnel” in their facilities received their certificates from the Head of the Communicable Diseases Branch, Mehmet SÜLEMİŞ, at the end of the 8-hour training session.
The training covered the Regulation on Procedures and Principles for Legionnaires’ Disease Control, which entered into force on May 13, 2015, updated practices, the duties and responsibilities of “Accommodation Unit Responsible Personnel,” and methods for combating Legionella bacteria that cause the disease.
